As some of you may know, I’m on a bit of a mission to help newcomers to boating to learn to live aboard.
Out to help people fast-track their learning, safer.
That’s not just a sailing thing or a boating thing, but across the board – electrics, anchoring, docking, radios and comms, etc. Pretty much everything the mainstream schools and facilities don’t teach newcomers.
Moving forward after a few trips and stumbles
I kicked this off earlier in the year and realised I was making too many assumptions. I was building an epic, global empire. That was mistake number 1!
I’ve since done some research (and spent a ton of cash with a self-confessed digital guru… that, well, didn’t work. He wanted the empire too).
Now, based on the research I’ve done, I’m aiming to create a portal of learning information for people to access and learn stuff at their own pace.
Out to build a worthy learning platform
In addition, and in time, I’ll also be offering one-on-one mentoring and, in time, I’ll run courses with groups of people and then, ultimately, we’ll introduce hands on sailing trips in a bunch of exciting places around the world.
Help!
But for now… I need your help.
I’d really appreciate a few minutes of your time to 1) go visit the website and then 2) come back to this form and answer a few questions for me – you know, feedback. This will help me to see from your eyes (my friends and family).
I’m particularly interested in feedback from those of you who are sailors and live aboards – go back to your early days. What was it like and, thinking back, what would have made it easier for you?
There’s only 10 questions and it shouldn’t take long.
Thanks a bunch for your time. I really appreciate it. And, I promise, when I’m a global superstar, I’ll remember you.
Have a great day.
Cheers,
Boyd
